I have no idea why, maybe it’s the fact that I’ve done a languages degree but they really fascinate me. I think I just find it interesting the way that language can change so much between areas.

 

I love the fact that barely anyone I went to Uni with knew what squinnying is!

Day 40 A Letter to a Deceased Person You Wish You Could Talk To

Dear Grandad

 

Hi, long time no see! Just wanted to let you know how I’m doing. Quite a lot’s happened in the past 13 years, I’ve finished my education for a start. As much as I hated my degree when I was doing it, I miss it now. I quit my first real job a few weeks ago so I could try to get one where I’ll actually be using it! 

I’ve got a boyfriend too, his name is Rob. Nanny likes him and I think you would too, he’s always fixing stuff around the flat for her, even though we now live in Birmingham.

I miss you!
